Details
What it is
Steps Flex is the portable companion to Steps. Steps lives under the desk; Steps Flex travels. Both deliver the same signal at the soles: localized contact from copper points pressed into the foot.
The Flex body is high-density rubber that flexes when unweighted and stays stable under load. It rolls or folds, fits in a backpack, and comes back out used the same day.
Materials
Base: high-density rubber. Flexible when unweighted, stable under pressure. Quiet in use. Packs without damage.
Contact: solid copper points, same geometry as Steps.
Form factor: designed to fit inside a bag and come back out used. No rigid edges. Grips most floors, mats, and carpet without sliding.
How to use
Lay Steps Flex on any clean floor. Stand or sit. Place your feet on the contact points and let the soles meet the surface. Add weight slowly.
Three canonical use modes:
Barefoot, on a hotel floor. 60 seconds before the day begins.
Between gym and work. Standing or seated. Re-establishing baseline.
A consistent physical reference in unfamiliar environments.
Start short, build up. Pressure is controlled by bodyweight and time, not by the product.
Care
Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Store dry, rolled or folded. Keep away from sustained moisture.
Safety & use boundaries
Use on a dry, clean floor. Keep Steps Flex away from children and pets between sessions. Reduce weight, wear socks, or stop when the contact feels too sharp.
Steps Flex is a portable tactile input board. It is not a treatment for any condition.
